- I have a question regarding DTE (data terminal equip.) speeds. I have
- a Zoom 28.8/14.4 data/fax. At first, all was fine. After catching a
- carrier, my CONNECT xxxx were showing the line speed. I lost a DLL file
- for KEAterm, so I reinstalled. Now, all my CONNECT messages are
- 2400. I enabled ATW2, to get the carrier, prot, dte speeds. The
- carrier is coming in right, but the DTE shows up as 2400. Is this
- correct? If I explicitly set my init string to include S95=1, I get the line
- speed in the CONNECT. I never had to do this before though, so I think
- a hareware setting is wrong. Can the DTE setting be modified?
-
- Any help is appreciated.
